Style inspired by the 50’s

After the second world war, the 50s were a time of renewal in the world. In fashion, It’s a good time for a change of style to mark the entry into a new era. This change cape was introduced by Christian Dior in 1947 with his collection which entered history as the “New Look”.

The signature shape was characterized by a below-mid-calf length, full-skirt, pointed bust, small waist, and rounded shoulder line. The radical new silhouette soon became immensely popular, influencing fashion and other designers for many years to come.
